A History of the Unrequited

He died for the ones who had him crucified...

The Bible.

He took care of those who ended up rejoicing over his death...

The Metamorphosis.

He loved the woman who never really loved her back...

the guy next door whose wife just cheated on him.

well, it's been a while since i've posted something so i've decided to indulge my audience in what's been happening here...

1. last week, the Bruins, despite incredible odds, won over the #2 ranked USC Trojans 13-9. AWESOME

2. finals week. need i say more?

3. finished a 25-page script for dark comedy. couldn't be more dissatisfied with the result. finished the first 10-page part of the script for my screenwriting class, my final. dissatisfied as well.

for my dark comedy script, go to www.psimaus.deviantart.com to see for yourself. it's not great, so don't keep your hopes up.

4. Christmas break is on the 15th... hence, soon. ah... freedom, waiting by the gates...

that's all. i better get back to my master: my lecture notes -.-

i've been doing a lot of schoolwork lately, so this may not have been updated as much as i would like to...

things are pretty normal here these days. class, hw, hanging out... along with something special plugged into the routine once in a while:

1. heard Bill Clinton ramble on in support of prop 87 (is it even 87?).

2. saw several hotties once more (life is good).

3. read a play called "The Lieutenant of Inishmore" where half the characters die, not to mention two cats).

4. kept on eating at Covel. lovin' the pasta still, and the occasional good chicken (i want my drunken chicken!).

5. still haven't done Fattorini's Mathematica HW that's due on friday (what does programming have to do with math again?).

6. worked out at Wooden, probably not going back anytime soon (think i pulled a muscle).

7. tried racquetball, thigh got hit (mark still evident).

8. John Wooden turns 96 (yay, thanks for the 10 ncaa championship, pops!).

9. Bruins lost to Oregon (dammit).

10. played pool for insanely long hours.

11. still unable to find a way to cook my cup noodles (a. no hot water b. no ceramic cup to microwave water, i'll live).

12. had THE BEST ham and swiss sandwich at Bruin Cafe (i swear, that is the stuff of dreams).

13. arms got sore from kendo strokes (sensei told me i looked like a chicken when i was bowing. interesting).

14. tried to study at Powell (ended up sleeping instead).

that's just about it. random, eh?

life is random, goes the iPOD Shuffle.

watched the soccer game against washington two days ago. it was fantastic. we were up 1-0 then they shot a goal with 2 minutes to spare! i was so frantic about that... but then in extended time, with 18 seconds left, we scored! it was wild. i love my school. hail Bruins!

watched the Stanford football game yesterday... i love it! fantastic plays, interceptions, touchdowns! woo! we won 31-0. take that trees.

haha, funny, this guy was wearing a red shirt and most of the Bruins were chanting "take off the red shirt" a whole lot. haha poor guy. i think he hid.

there are still a lot of hot people here in UCLA. i love it here :D mwahaha. anyway, i gotta go... i DO have homework, you know. ah, precalc, dark comedy...

1.

the validity of my account
of what i've seen so far
is judged to be
untrue by all
save i
who see it all
in its utter disarray
of notes:
a chord
of discord.

2.

they listen with ears
of iron
or wood,
with faces that seem
to stare back with looks
of interest and
agreement.
yeah.
yeah.
go the pallid wrinkles
waiting to stretch back
to indifference
they so yearned to possess once more.
